A tally from the Florida Department of Education's Choice Office demonstrates that for the 2005-06 school year, the A+OSP served a primarily black and Hispanic student population. The McKay Scholarships Program served a more diverse mix of students, reflective of the general Florida student population.

NOTE: On January 5, 2006, the A+ Opportunity Scholarship Program was declared unconstitutional by the Florida Supreme Court.
