The redesigned site offers more resources and enhanced features to provide easier access to even more information about school choice programs around the country. These improvements are being launched along with a new sponsor for the site, the American Education Reform Council (AERC).
We’ve added search functions to help users find items from the more than 400 news articles and 80 research papers on file in our databases. For quick access, the most popular and current research will be posted on the main research page.
The School Choice Facts section has expanded to include information on voucher programs in Maine and Vermont. Updated data on the Milwaukee, Cleveland, and Florida programs will be posted soon, along with information on any recently created voucher programs.
The American Education Reform Council is a non-profit organization located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin that seeks to ensure an honest debate about school choice by providing accurate information on the impact of choice on families, communities, and schools. For more information on AERC, visit About AERC.
Current information on the Black Alliance for Educational Options (BAEO) and Marquette University’s Institute for the Transformation of Learning (ITL), the former sponsors of this site, can be found online at, www.baeo.org and www.itlmuonline.org.
