Milwaukee Public Schools Board of Directors

MPS is governed by a nine-member school board. One of the nine members is elected at-large, on a citywide basis. The other eight are elected from individual districts.

MPS board members cover a broad spectrum in their views of the MPCP. The approach of members elected from individual districts ranges from strong opposition to strong support.
