The U.S. Secretary of Education and the D.C. Mayor have commissioned a team comprised of Westat of Rockville, Md., Georgetown University's School Choice Demonstration Project, and the Chesapeake Research Associates to perform a five-year longitudinal study to evalute the academic achievement of scholarship recipients, parent satisfaction, and other issues.
